Hugo Casarini is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, lyricist, and producer who emerged in the music scene in the 1980s. He was born in the state of Minas Gerais and later moved to São Paulo, establishing himself as a multifaceted artist within Brazilian popular music.

Casarini's career began with a focus on producing shows and writing lyrics for various artists, including notable names like Joanna and Mônica Tomasi. His work as a lyricist showcased his poetic sensibility and contributed to the diverse landscape of Brazilian song.

In 2004, Hugo Casarini released his debut CD, "Sim," which featured his own compositions and a special collaboration with Joanna, with whom he performed a drum and bass rendition of Billy Blanco's "A Banca." His artistic output continued with the release of another independent CD in 2006, which included original songs and re-recordings of his compositions, as well as collaborations with artists such as Deyse Tigrona and Ramilson Maia.
