Biography

Inimigos da HP is a renowned Brazilian pagode universitário band formed in 2001. The group originally came together in 1999 as a casual gathering of college friends who enjoyed playing pagode music together. Over time, what started as a fun hobby blossomed into a professional career, leading the members to leave behind their previous professions to dedicate themselves fully to music.

Several of the band's founding members studied engineering in college, which directly inspired the group's unique name as a playful reference to the Hewlett-Packard (HP) calculator brand. Their dynamic style has resonated strongly within the Brazilian music scene, earning them a Latin Grammy nomination in 2009 in the Best Samba/Pagode Album category for their live release, Inimigos da HP - Ao Vivo.

Throughout their career, the band has released numerous successful albums and DVDs, such as E Quem Não Gosta do Inimigos, Zoodstock, and Amigos da Balada. Their energetic performances share stylistic ground with prominent acts in the pagode and samba landscape, keeping audiences entertained alongside contemporaries like Exaltasamba and Sorriso Maroto.
