Ithamara Koorax is an acclaimed Brazilian singer born in Niterói, internationally recognized for her versatility and talent in interpreting genres such as MPB, classical music, jazz, and bossa nova. Throughout her career, Koorax has received significant recognition from global specialized critics, being pointed out by renowned critic Scott Yanow in his book "The Jazz Singers" as one of the greatest singers in jazz history and repeatedly figuring among the best vocalists in the world in the traditional poll by the American magazine DownBeat.
