Jabolô, born Dinckel Martins, was a Brazilian composer and singer who left a significant mark on samba and Brazilian popular music. His most famous composition, "Lendas e mistérios da amazônia" (Legends and Mysteries of the Amazon), written in partnership with Catoni and Valtenir, was recorded by Elizeth Cardoso in 1972 and became a major hit for the samba school Portela in the 1970 carnival.
