Biography

Jamily Oliveira Sampaio, known professionally simply as Jamily, was born in Rio de Janeiro on July 3, 1992. Raised in the Ladeira dos Tabajaras community in Copacabana, she began singing at the age of seven at the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God. Her artistic career gained national prominence in 2001, when she was discovered at age nine on the Programa Raul Gil, establishing herself as one of the major names in contemporary Christian music in Brazil.

Throughout her career, Jamily achieved significant sales milestones certified by ABPD, accumulating multiple gold albums and DVDs, as well as a platinum record. She released highly impactful albums, such as "Conquistando o Impossível", whose success spawned the track "Campeão", widely covered by artists such as Luan Santana and adopted by athletes and sports teams. Her work has also been recognized at awards shows like the Troféu Talento, sharing stages and collaborations with names such as Robinson Monteiro and Pregador Luo.

In addition to her solid discography in the gospel segment, Jamily expanded her artistic boundaries by recording material in English, such as the EP "My Shelter", and undertaking international tours. Alongside music, she earned a degree in Music Production and works in other creative fields as a visual artist and educator. With a career marked by perseverance and versatility, she continues to release new work on digital platforms.
