Jay Vaquer is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, actor, and musician born in Rio de Janeiro. Coming from a musical family, he is the son of American guitarist Jay Anthony Vaquer and singer Jane Duboc. Throughout his career, he has built a strong presence in the Brazilian pop and rock scene, also gaining notable recognition on digital platforms for his popularity and influence.

In addition to his solo musical work, Vaquer has made significant contributions to musical theater as a creator, writer, and director. In 2013, he launched the "Transversões" project with an album dedicated to the compositions of Guilherme Arantes. His involvement with stage musicals includes starring in productions like Cazas de Cazuza and writing original rock operas and plays such as Meia-Noite Cinderela and Síndroma.
