Biography

Jean Turrer Dolabella is a Brazilian multi-instrumentalist, record producer, and entrepreneur born in Uberaba, Minas Gerais. He began his musical studies at an early age and later graduated from the Los Angeles College of Music, establishing himself as a prominent figure in rock and heavy metal drumming. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with legendary national and international artists such as Milton Nascimento, Lenine, Ana Carolina, and Mike Patton.

Dolabella rose to national prominence as a founding member of the rock band Udora, originally known as Diesel, which gained attention after performing at the Rock in Rio festival and eventually relocating to Los Angeles. In 2006, he joined the iconic metal band Sepultura, recording albums such as A-Lex and Kairos before leaving in 2011. He was also a founding member of the rock band Ego Kill Talent and notably served as the touring drummer for singer Pitty.

Beyond his performance career, Dolabella co-founded the renowned Family Mob Studios in São Paulo, where he has worked with numerous domestic and international acts. He remains active as a producer, educator, and participant in various musical projects, including the instrumental duo Indireto. His versatile contributions have cemented his status as one of the most respected musicians in the contemporary Brazilian rock scene.
