Biography
Jean Tassy is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, musician, and rapper born in Brasília and raised in Guará, Distrito Federal. He began his musical journey in 2013 by co-founding the group TheGust MC's, through which he engaged with the local rap scene by participating in famous events like Batalha do Museu and Batalha do Neurônio, while collaborating with figures such as Froid and Victor Xamã.
In 2018, he embarked on his solo career, blending contemporary R&B, neo soul, and traditional Brazilian rhythms to forge a distinct independent sound. His conceptual discography includes EPs like Anteontem, Ontem, Hoje, and Outono, as well as full-length albums such as Amanhã and Acrônico, the latter of which featured collaborations with prominent artists like Liniker, Don L, and Duquesa.
Throughout his career, he has achieved significant milestones, including earning a gold record for the hit single "Diz Pra Mim" produced alongside Iuri Rio Branco. He continues to be a prominent figure in Brazil's alternative music scene, performing at major festivals such as COMA and working with various notable beatmakers like Patrício Sid and Emtee Beats.
