Biography

Jefferson Lescowich is a Brazilian bassist and music professor. Born in Jaraguá do Sul, Santa Catarina, on November 28, 1977, Lescowich grew up in a musical family. He received his first guitar from his grandfather and began playing in church. Family gatherings often featured accordion, guitar, and other instruments.

Despite his early exposure to music, Lescowich initially pursued a career in professional volleyball due to his impressive height of 1.93 meters, playing in Blumenau, Santa Catarina. However, his passion for music led him to switch paths. While training, he befriended musicians who played nearby and began to play the bass with them, ultimately choosing music as his profession.

Throughout his career, Lescowich has collaborated with a notable roster of Brazilian artists, including Jane Duboc, Nana Caymmi, Dori Caymmi, Mariana de Moraes, Lisa Ono, Mauro Senise, Cristóvão Bastos, Ricardo Silveira, Marcos Valle, Jurim Moreira, Jorge Helder, and Itamar Assiere, among others. His versatility and skill as a bassist have made him a sought-after musician in the Brazilian music scene.
