Biography

Jeito Moleque is a renowned Brazilian romantic pagode and pagode universitário band, formed in 1998 in the Santana neighborhood, in the North Zone of São Paulo. The group began its journey after soccer matches at a local club, where childhood friends bonded with musicians and decided to create a sound that mixed pop music influences with traditional samba. With memorable performances in bars in Vila Madalena and Vila Olímpia, the band quickly won over young university audiences in São Paulo, paving the way for the release of their first self-authored album in 2004 and a contract with the Universal Music label.

Over a career spanning more than two decades, Jeito Moleque stood out not only for the commercial success of hits like "Amizade Verdadeira" and "Me Faz Feliz", but also for their involvement in socio-environmental causes, reflected in projects like the DVD Ao Vivo na Amazônia and the album 5 Elementos. The group's discography includes several highly impactful live recordings and collaborations with important names in the national scene, such as Thiaguinho and Grupo Revelação. After a brief hiatus in 2016 and subsequent reformulation with the arrival of vocalist Gui Albuquerque, the band maintained its relevance in the contemporary pagode scene.
