Jéssica Ellen Dias da Costa is a multi-talented Brazilian actress, singer, songwriter, and dancer born in Rio de Janeiro. Raised in the Rocinha favela, she emerged from humble beginnings to study theater at UniverCidade and contemporary dance at Faculdade de Dança Angel Vianna. Over the years, she established herself as a prominent figure in Brazilian television, cinema, and music, celebrated for her powerful portrayals addressing racism and social inequality.

As a recording artist, Jessica Ellen released her debut album Sankofa in 2018, celebrating her ancestral roots, and followed it up with her second album Macumbeira in 2021, featuring notable collaborations with artists such as Zezé Motta and Pretinho da Serrinha. Her musical journey also led her to perform on the Sunset Stage at Rock in Rio alongside the legendary Elza Soares in 2019. In addition to her music career, she has garnered widespread critical acclaim for her acting roles in television series and films, including Justice, Mother's Love, and Head of the People.
