Biography

Jheremmias Não Bate Corner was a Brazilian axé music band that emerged in Salvador, Bahia, in the summer of 1994. The band's name was a soccer-related joke that translated the joy and spontaneity of the group, whose dream was "to bring the joy of scoring a goal to the stage." The original lineup featured Tuca Fernandes on vocals, Manno Góes on guitar, and Beto Espínola on bass.

The band gained notoriety with the cover of the hit "Garota Dourada" and had its music video aired on MTV, achieving international projection with shows in countries such as Argentina, the United States, China, Japan, Portugal, and Spain. The group released their first CD in 1994, featuring songs like "Jheremmias Não Bate Corner", "Milla", and "Vamos Bagunçar".

Later, the band Jheremmias Não Bate Corner changed its name to "Jammil e Uma Noites", keeping Tuca Fernandes, Manno Góes, and Beto Espínola as the main members, and continued to forge a path of success in the Bahian and national music scene.
