João Luiz, artistically known as JLZ, is a music producer and DJ hailing from Brasília, Brazil. Since beginning his career in 2014, he has been actively developing his work both within Brazil and internationally. His relentless research into music has established him as a significant reference in the national and global Bass music scene, recognized for his advanced and innovative sounds. JLZ's productions and sets are characterized by a constant evolution, reflecting his deep exploration of Afrobeat and a diverse range of percussive elements.

JLZ is known for his ability to fuse various genres, creating a sound that is both original and exciting. His music often blends contemporary electronic beats with traditional Brazilian rhythms, resulting in a unique sonic identity. He has collaborated with notable Brazilian artists such as Linn da Quebrada, Mia Badgyal, Jaloo, and Tuyo.
