João Mantuano is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who has carved a niche for himself in the contemporary Brazilian music scene. His work is characterized by a rich blend of genres, drawing from MPB, rock, samba, jazz, blues, Latin music, and even gypsy music, showcasing a remarkable versatility.

Mantuano first gained significant recognition with his debut solo album, "Por onde anda o tempo," released in 2019, featuring eleven original tracks. In 2021, he collaborated with Chico Chico on the album "Chico Chico e João Mantuano," which garnered critical acclaim and included notable songs like "A Cidade" and "Largo do Machado." This partnership highlighted Mantuano's ability to create compelling musical dialogues with other artists.

More recently, Mantuano formed the duo "Coisa Nossa" with singer-songwriter Raya, releasing their self-titled album in 2024.
