Biography

Jonas Esticado, stage name of Jonas Mikael Costa Xavier, was born in Juazeiro do Norte on September 24, 1994. The singer began his professional journey in 2014 when he joined the band Forró Esticado, spending about two years in the group before pursuing a solo career starting in 2016, after recording his first DVD in the city of Crato at the end of 2015.

Established as one of the main names in forró and so-called paredão music in Brazil, he expanded his national profile with projects like the DVD "Jonas Intense - Ao Vivo", recorded in Maceió. Throughout his career, the artist has collaborated with various exponents of national music, including guest appearances by duos like Jorge & Mateus and Matheus & Kauan, in addition to boosting major hits such as the track "Investe em Mim", which gained massive traction after being performed in a live stream alongside Gusttavo Lima.

In September 2019, the singer celebrated five years of career with the recording of the DVD "Jonas In Brasilia". Maintaining a strong presence on digital platforms and accumulating tens of millions of views on songs like "Ele Não Tem" and "Moça do Espelho", he continues to be one of the contemporary references of the forró genre in the Brazilian music scene.
