Jorge Geraldo de Camargo Filho, known professionally as Jorge Camargo, is a prominent Brazilian Christian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, arranger, and author born in São Paulo on April 6, 1963. Over a career spanning more than four decades, he has established himself as a significant figure in Brazilian gospel music, notably as a former member of the influential groups Semente and Vencedores por Cristo. Beyond his performance career, he holds a master's degree in Science of Religion and a doctorate in Education, Art, and Cultural History from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, reflecting his deep academic interest in the intersections of faith, art, and philosophy within Brazilian culture.

As a prolific recording artist, Camargo has released seventeen solo albums, alongside numerous EPs, singles, and collaborative projects, including well-received works like Feito o Amanhecer and Presença. He is widely recognized for composing liturgical standards such as "Teus Altares," co-written with Guilherme Kerr, and his music has been interpreted by various artists including Paulo César Baruk, Carlinhos Veiga, and Arautos do Rei.
