Biography

Jorginho Araújo is a Brazilian composer, multi-instrumentalist, musical producer, and arranger born in São Paulo on March 18, 1986. Coming from a musical family as the son of singers Jorge Araújo and Eula Paula, he began his professional career playing in the children's group Turma do Barulho before working on his father's projects. Over the years, he established himself as a prominent figure in contemporary Christian music, collaborating with notable artists such as Shirley Carvalhaes, Cristina Mel, and Pregador Luo.

His career reached new heights through his longstanding partnership with his sister, singer Daniela Araújo, with whom he co-produced several acclaimed albums, including Catarse Lado A and Catarse Lado B, both of which received Latin Grammy nominations. In addition to his work with his sister, Jorginho has produced and arranged for major contemporary Christian acts like Gabriela Rocha, Priscilla Alcantara, and Leonardo Gonçalves. His extensive studio and live experience also includes touring with the Ministry Adoração e Adoradores.

In 2020, Jorginho relocated to Dallas, Texas, where he studied Theology at the Christ For The Nations Institute and took on the role of Worship Producer Coordinator. In this capacity, he has continued to shape the sound of modern worship, leading student projects such as the album A Las Naciones, which earned a Dove Award nomination for Best Spanish Language Worship Album. Throughout his career, he has collaborated closely with fellow Brazilian artists like Daniela Araújo, solidifying his legacy in the national Christian music scene.
