Biography

Josué Teodoro da Silva, better known as Josué Teodoro, was born in Belford Roxo on July 12, 1970. He established himself as one of the most prominent songwriters, singers, and multi-instrumentists in the Brazilian Christian music scene, especially during the 1990s. Before achieving notoriety, he accumulated more than two hundred compositions in anonymity until his work began to be recorded by big names in the religious segment.

His career gained momentum when singer Denise Cerqueira recorded one of his songs, opening doors for his original production to reach several renowned interpreters. Over the years, Josué had his lyrics recorded by renowned artists such as Aline Barros, Fernanda Brum, Cassiane, Shirley Carvalhaes, Cristina Mel, Marina de Oliveira, Altos Louvores, Andrea Fontes, Bruna Karla, Elaine de Jesus, Lauriete, and Léa Mendonça. In addition to being a prolific songwriter, he also recorded vocal appearances, such as in a duet with Denise Cerqueira on the album Em Tua Presença, on the track "Te Amo".

In his solo career as an interpreter, Josué Teodoro released several recorded works, including studio albums and live recordings. Among his most striking releases are the albums No Ritmo do Sentimento and De Todo o Coração, as well as digital projects and singles that marked his trajectory in national gospel music.
