Juçara Marçal is a prominent Brazilian singer and educator born in Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro. She began her professional musical journey in 1990 with Companhia Coral, a collective that blended music and theater under the direction of maestro Samuel Kerr. Over the subsequent decades, she became an influential figure in the Brazilian independent music scene through her work with renowned groups such as Vésper Vocal, A Barca, and Metá Metá, collaborating closely with artists like Kiko Dinucci and Thiago França.

In addition to her extensive band discography, Marçal has forged a celebrated solo career, highlighted by acclaimed albums such as Encarnado in 2014 and Delta Estácio Blues in 2021. Her artistic output has earned her major recognition, including multiple awards at the Prêmio Multishow, where she has also collaborated with prominent national figures like Criolo.
