Biography

Juliana Diniz is a Brazilian singer and actress, born on October 12, 1986, in Madureira, Rio de Janeiro. She comes from a prominent musical family, being the granddaughter of the renowned samba composer Monarco and the daughter of composer and instrumentalist Mauro Diniz. Her artistic journey began with acting, studying theater and appearing in the telenovela "Senhora do Destino." However, her passion for music, deeply rooted in her family's legacy, soon took center stage.

Diniz's musical career gained momentum after performing alongside her grandfather, father, and the celebrated Zeca Pagodinho. This exposure, coupled with her innate talent, convinced her to pursue singing professionally. Her debut album was released in 2005, with Zeca Pagodinho serving as producer and arrangements by Mauro Diniz and Rildo Hora. The album featured collaborations with prominent artists and showcased her ability to blend traditional samba with contemporary influences.

Beyond her solo career, Juliana Diniz has been an active participant in various musical projects, including the "Família Diniz – um coração azul e branco" DVD, which celebrated three generations of her family's musical talent. She has also performed in tribute shows and collaborated with numerous artists, solidifying her place in the Brazilian music scene.
