Biography
Juliana Moraes is a Brazilian singer and composer born in São Paulo, SP, on September 8, 1977. She pursued her musical education at the Free University of Music (now the Tom Jobim Center), where she honed her skills in popular singing, choir, ensemble practice, and musical perception and theory. While also holding a law degree, Moraes's passion for music led her to an international career.
In 2002, Moraes moved to Paris, France, and later to Clermont-Ferrand in 2008. There, she became the lead singer for the group Copacabana Musique Brésilienne, performing at various festivals and venues. Her talent was recognized when she was invited by the Cébazar Symphony Orchestra to perform at the Inter'notes Festival in 2009. This period abroad allowed her to immerse herself in different musical landscapes while maintaining her Brazilian roots.
Returning to Brazil in 2010, Moraes settled in Rio de Janeiro to focus on producing her first CD. This project involved collaborations with notable Brazilian artists such as Paulo da Luz, Bráulio Netto, and Jonas Sant'Anna, further solidifying her presence in the Brazilian music scene.
