Biography
The vocal group Kades Singers emerged in São Paulo in 1995, standing out in Brazilian Protestant gospel music for its rigorous vocal division work and counterpoint techniques. Initially formed by names such as Raquel Mello, Marlon Saint, Jussara Oliveira, Siclair Ferreira, and Darilton de Almeida, the ensemble adopted the name by combining the Hebrew word for "consecrated" with the English term for singers.
After catching the attention of singer Fernanda Brum, the group signed with the record label MK Music, releasing highly acclaimed albums such as "Alta Voz" and "Muita Vida". Throughout its trajectory, which also included stints at Line Records, Kades Singers won important awards in the national evangelical scene and collaborated with several prominent artists, including Cristina Mel and Kleber Lucas.
With various line-up changes over the years, the group remained active, alternating between periods of independent recordings and performances. Even with changes and the departures of notable members such as Raquel Mello, Kades Singers consolidated its legacy in Brazilian sacred music through the refinement of its a cappella vocals and participation in soundtracks and major events.
