Karina Zeviani is a Brazilian singer-songwriter whose music masterfully blends traditional Brazilian rhythms with contemporary pop and electronic elements. Born in Jaboticabal, in the interior of São Paulo, Zeviani's early life included a period as a model, which took her to various countries before she discovered her passion for music. Her career began in Hamburg, Germany, in 1996, and by 1998, she had returned to Brazil, establishing herself in Rio de Janeiro and beginning her solo project.

Zeviani's unique style is characterized by its fusion of diverse genres, including forró, maracatu, samba, pop, and breakbeats, all underpinned by emotionally charged lyrical content. Her travels and collaborations have allowed her to develop a distinctive voice and compositional approach. She has performed and recorded with internationally acclaimed artists such as Thievery Corporation and Nouvelle Vague, the latter being a French band known for its covers of popular songs with a new wave and bossa nova twist.
