Biography

Kemuel is a relevant Brazilian Christian vocal group founded in 2007 under the leadership of Pastor David Marx. The interdenominational project stands out in the contemporary Christian music and national gospel scene, incorporating influences from North American currents such as the group Hillsong United and singer Kirk Franklin. Throughout its history, the group has gone through several lineups and variations in the number of members, in addition to establishing partnerships with record labels such as Sony Music.

The group gained enormous prominence on the internet through acoustic videos published on their YouTube platform, accumulating millions of views and loyal followers. In their discography, productions such as the cover album "Clássicos", released in 2015, and the inclusion of the track "Quão Grande És Tu" on the soundtrack of the Brazilian version of the film God's Not Dead 2 in 2016 stand out. The group's current lineup features five main voices, including David Marx, Eliane Marx, Priscila Olly, Beresix and Heric Tolentino.

Kemuel's trajectory was also marked by stints of various prominent singers and former members, such as Ludi and Aline Lana, as well as moments of musical expansion with albums like "Kemuel Worship" and "Filhos". The group has established itself as one of the vocal references in Brazilian gospel music, engaging with the contemporary audience and maintaining a strong presence on streaming platforms and social media.
