Biography

Francisco José Zambianchi, better known as Kiko Zambianchi, is a Brazilian singer, guitarist, and songwriter born in Ribeirão Preto. He began his musical journey playing guitar during his adolescence, participating in student festivals and theatrical plays before forming the band Vida de Rua and later moving to São Paulo to sign with EMI.

Throughout his career, he has written notable compositions and collaborated with numerous prominent figures in Brazilian music, including Erasmo Carlos, who recorded his song "Manchas e Intrigas". Zambianchi achieved widespread recognition with his major hit "Primeiros Erros (Chove)", which gained massive popularity and was later famously recorded by Capital Inicial during their MTV Acoustic performance, alongside other notable covers by artists like Simony.

In addition to his solo work and collaborations with artists such as Capital Inicial, Bezerra da Silva, and Vitor Kley, he has contributed extensively to soundtracks for television and theater. His enduring legacy in Brazilian rock and pop is highlighted by his continued recording and performance activity, including sessions at Abbey Road Studios.
