Laiane Santana, professionally known as Laizza, is a multifaceted Brazilian artist born and raised in the Alto de Coutos neighborhood of Salvador, Bahia. Her artistic journey began in childhood through her involvement with church music, where she honed her vocal talents. By 2013, she was already sharing gospel covers on Facebook, showcasing an early passion for music.

During her high school years, Laizza explored her theatrical and comedic inclinations through school-provided acting classes. This experience laid the groundwork for her later success on YouTube, where she launched her channel in 2015. The channel, initially named "Laizzando," gained significant traction due to her popular parodies, marking a pivotal step in her burgeoning career.

Laizza officially launched her professional music career in 2018, initially experimenting with genres that didn't fully resonate with her artistic identity.
