Biography

Born Flávio Oliveira de Oliveira in Alfenas, Minas Gerais, Landau began his musical journey in 1992, initially as a drummer and percussionist for various rock bands and a country music duo.

In 1998, he adopted the stage name Landau and launched his solo career, releasing his first CD, "Chegue perto de mim," in 1999. His music is characterized by a blend of folk and hard rock influences, often referred to as "Rockmobilismo." He gained wider recognition when he composed the soundtrack for the "Lata Velha" segment on Rede Globo's "Caldeirão do Huck."

Landau has collaborated with numerous Brazilian artists, including Zeca Baleiro, Zé Geraldo, and Amado Batista. He is also known for his "Luau do Landau" shows, which are described as musical gatherings featuring creative reinterpretations of songs by Brazilian icons like Raul Seixas and Zé Ramalho. His career spans over two decades, marked by a prolific discography and a consistent presence in the independent music scene.
