Biography
Larissa Goretkin is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, flutist, and pianist who has been developing her musical career with a strong presence in Portugal. Born in Rio de Janeiro, the artist moved to the European country in 2019, but her musical roots and Brazilian influences remain evident in her work. Her music transitions between acoustic pop, new jazz, and indie, with arrangements that frequently include cello, exploring intimate and confessional soundscapes. Goretkin is known for composing all of her music, demonstrating a multifaceted talent that extends to playing her own instruments.
Her discography includes works such as "Inner Cartography Volume 1" and "Inner Cartography Volume 2", albums that explore her "internal cartography" of musical and life references. In these works, she collaborates with other artists, such as Leleia Glitter on cello and photography, Mariana Bernardes on vocals, and Matias Correa on musical production and acoustic bass. The artist also released the instrumental EP "Onírico", focused on solo piano, which breaks away from the lyrical format of her previous works, exploring contemporary minimalism and the neoclassical style.
Larissa Goretkin also stands out for her initiative to make sheet music for her compositions available for free in PDF format, encouraging music students and teachers through online challenges. Her upcoming single "O Grande Amor", produced under the mentorship of Luísa Sobral, addresses themes such as self-love and the identity of an immigrant artist. The artist demonstrates a connection with the Brazilian music scene, even while residing in Portugal, and seeks to inspire through her authentic and emotional music.
