Laura Castro is a Brazilian-American singer, actress, voice actress, and multi-instrumentalist born in Monterrey. She first gained widespread public attention when she participated in the second season of the reality television singing competition The Voice Kids, where she was mentored by Ivete Sangalo. Following her early television exposure, she established herself in musical theater and voice acting, lending her voice to prominent characters such as Princess Ariel in the Brazilian Portuguese dub of the live-action film The Little Mermaid.

In 2019, Laura joined the successful pop girl group BFF Girls, replacing a departing member alongside Bia Torres and Giulia Nassa. As part of the trio, she released original music, starred in feature films like O Melhor Verão das Nosas Vidas, and headlined the HBO Max series Use Sua Voz. Alongside her work in the group, she continued a prolific career in theater and dubbing, performing in major productions such as Meninas Malvadas - O Musical and Dreamgirls at Teatro Santander.
