Biography

Léa Mendonça is a renowned Brazilian singer, songwriter, author, and pastor, standing out as one of the great voices of contemporary Christian music. Born in Rio de Janeiro, she began her professional journey in the 1980s by joining the first lineup of the group Altos Louvores, one of the main exponents of Protestant music at the time, where she worked for five years as a singer and songwriter.

In 1992, she began her solo career with the release of the album "Olha Pra Mim", consolidating her trajectory by signing with the record label MK Publicitá in 1995. Over the years, she has earned several Gold and Platinum records with landmark works such as "Louvor Profético", produced by Kleber Lucas, and "Milagres da Adoração". Her relevance in the music scene was crowned in 2018 with a Latin Grammy nomination in the Best Portuguese Language Christian Album category for the record "Adoração na Guerra".

In addition to her solid musical career, Léa Mendonça has expanded her ministerial work through literature and communication, hosting the podcast CrentePod and celebrating four decades of ministry with commemorative projects. Throughout her artistic journey, she has collaborated and shared moments with important names in the gospel scene, such as Marquinhos Gomes, Pastor Lucas, and Cristina Mel.
