Biography

Leandro Braga is a prominent Brazilian pianist, arranger, and composer born in São José dos Paulo. Initially trained in classical piano from a young age, he also pursued a career in medicine before fully dedicating himself to music. Over his extensive career, he has collaborated with legendary figures of Brazilian music such as Chico Buarque, Johnny Alf, and Milton Nascimento, cementing his reputation as a master of both popular and classical idioms.

In addition to his solo recording career, which includes acclaimed instrumental albums and reinterpretations of classic Brazilian repertoire, Braga has written extensive orchestral arrangements for groups like the Orquestra Sinfônica do Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro. He has also been deeply involved in theater as a musical director and conductor, while maintaining a strong commitment to social projects through music education for underprivileged youth in Brazil.
