Biography

Marco Aurélio Moreira Zaneti, widely known as Lelo Zaneti, is a renowned Brazilian musician, composer, and bassist born in São Domingos do Prata. Before solidifying his musical legacy, he studied to become a translator and interpreter while developing his musical skills through piano, acoustic bass, and singing lessons. Alongside Samuel Rosa, Haroldo Ferretti, and Henrique Portugal, he co-founded the legendary pop rock band Skank, where he served as the bassist and backing vocalist. As a songwriter, he contributed to several of the group's notable tracks, including 'Te Ver', 'Garrafas', 'Resta um Pouco Mais', and 'Canção Noturna'.

In 2016, Zaneti expanded his artistic horizons by forming the trio Nie Myer alongside his Skank bandmate Henrique Portugal and DJ/producer Anderson Noise, exploring a distinct fusion of jazz and electronic music. Continuing his collaborative journey, he later teamed up with artists such as Érika Martins, Fernando Americano, and his longtime partner from Skank, Haroldo Ferretti, to establish the band Capsula. His enduring presence in the Brazilian alternative and pop rock scenes has cemented his status as a versatile and influential instrumentalist.
