Biography

Leandro Santos Brandão, known professionally as Léo Brandão, is a Brazilian contemporary Christian music singer, songwriter, and musician. Born in Maceió and raised in Goiânia, he showed an early interest in music through his involvement with church activities and converted to Christianity at the age of thirteen, deciding to dedicate his career to gospel music. He officially entered the recording industry in 2011 with the release of his debut album, Súplica, establishing his style in contemporary worship alongside subsequent singles like "Correndo Eu Vou" and "Infinito Amor".

In 2018, Brandão joined Casa Worship, one of the most prominent contemporary worship groups in Brazil. During his tenure with the group, he participated in major nationwide hits such as "A Casa é Sua" and "Que Amor é Esse", which achieved massive popularity across streaming platforms and churches throughout the country. Alongside his solo and group endeavors, he has frequently collaborated with other prominent figures in the Brazilian gospel scene, such as Julliany Souza.

Beyond his musical career, Brandão's personal life has often intersected with his ministry. He was previously married to songwriter Helena Albernaz, with whom he had a daughter, before later marrying fellow gospel artist Julliany Souza in 2022 after both had departed from Casa Worship. Together, the couple continues to collaborate on various musical projects and Christian ministry initiatives, expanding their influence within Brazilian gospel music.
