Biography

Letícia Pinheiro de Novaes, known artistically as Letrux, was born in Rio de Janeiro and built a solid career as a singer, songwriter, actress, and writer. In her adolescence and youth, she was part of musical projects such as the bands Letícios and Ménage à Trois, before founding the duo Letuce alongside Lucas Vasconcellos in 2008. With Letuce, she released praised albums like Plano de Fuga pra Cima dos Outros e de Mim and Manja Perene, moving through indie rock with influences from bossa nova and tropicália.

Following the end of the duo in 2016, Letrux debuted her solo career with the acclaimed album Letrux em Noite de Climão, released in 2017 and winner of the Multishow Award for Best Album by the super jury. The work consolidated her sound focused on pop and psychedelia, paving the way for later successes such as Letrux Aos Prantos and the award-winning Letrux como Mulher Girafa. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with various exponents of Brazilian music, such as Marina Lima, Liniker, and Duda Beat.

In addition to music, Letícia stood out in literature with publications such as the book Zaralha - Abri A Minha Pasta and in film and theater acting. Her artistic contribution also encompasses award-winning soundtracks, such as in the film Riscado, reaffirming her versatility and relevance in the country's contemporary cultural scene.
