Biography

Lilian Azevedo is a Brazilian gospel music singer, known for her powerful voice and inspiring lyrics. Her musical career began in 2005, when she was invited to participate in the DVD "Voices Acústico e Ao Vivo", marking her debut in the group Voices.

Before standing out as a solo singer, Lilian worked as a speech-language pathologist and backing vocalist for several renowned names in Brazilian gospel music, such as Ludmila Ferber, Eyshila, Fernanda Brum, Aline Barros, Cassiane, and Kleber Lucas. Her experience as a backing vocalist and her background in speech-language pathology contributed to the development of her vocal technique and stage presence.

In 2006, alongside her husband, fellow singer and pastor Marquinhos Menezes, Lilian released the album "Profetas Adoradores", a live worship project that consolidated the duo in the gospel scene. Later, in 2011, they released the album "Eu Creio!". In 2016, Lilian Azevedo took an important step in her career by releasing her first solo album, "Tudo Novo", produced by Paulo César Baruk, which featured guest appearances by Eyshila, her daughter Sophia, and her husband Marquinhos Menezes. In 2022, she returned with the single "Tua Graça Me Basta", in partnership with Fernanda Brum, reaffirming her relevance in gospel music.
