Biography

Lucas Estrela is a musician, composer, and visual artist from Pará, born in Belém, Pará, on March 6, 1992. His musical journey began at age 12, and at 15, he entered the UFPA School of Music, where he studied classical guitar before dedicating himself to the electric bass. In 2011, he founded the instrumental trio Enquadro, marking the beginning of his professional career. Concurrently, he began producing his solo work, with a strong focus on the sounds of tecnobrega and guitarrada, genres that would become pillars of his artistic identity.

In 2012, he moved to São Paulo to refine his studies at the State School of Music. During this period, he developed a research and production project on soundscapes in various cities in Brazil and Argentina, which resulted in his first solo exhibition. His discography includes albums such as "Sal ou Moscou" (2016) and "Farol" (2017), the latter exploring the fusion of carimbó with digital music and tecnoguitarrada. Lucas Estrela also joined guitarist Pio Lobato's band and collaborated with various artists, consolidating his presence in the Brazilian music scene.

Lucas Estrela is recognized for his ability to blend regional Amazonian influences with global electronic music, creating a unique style that moves between guitarrada, tecnobrega, carimbó, and modern MPB. His work extends beyond music, including visual arts projects and teaching workshops on electronics and musical instruments. His trajectory has led him to participate in important festivals and to be recognized as an exponent of the new generation of Pará music, engaging in dialogue with artists such as Gaby Amarantos and Jaloo.
