Biography

Lucas Scholles Lima is a Brazilian multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer, actor, music producer, and arranger born in Porto Alegre. He is widely recognized as a core member of the well-known musical group Família Lima, alongside which he has performed extensively both nationally and internationally. In addition to his work with the family band, he has cultivated a diverse career as a rock musician leading the band In Vitro, a theatre and game sound designer, and a prolific producer and arranger for prominent Brazilian artists such as Sandy, Sandy e Junior, and Chitãozinho e Xororó.

Educated in music at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), Lucas Lima has built a reputation for his versatility across numerous string and wind instruments, including the guitar, viola, violin, classical guitar, transverse flute, and bassoon. His creative reach extends into production and arrangement work for major projects, notably producing and shaping the conceptual direction of the Família Lima album Carmina Burana, as well as working closely on several acclaimed albums for singer Sandy. Furthermore, he has composed original soundtracks for theatrical plays, commercials, and video games.

Beyond his instrumental and production output, Lima has maintained an active presence in digital media through podcasting and has frequently appeared on television programs. His extensive contributions to the contemporary Brazilian music landscape cement his status as a multifaceted instrumentalist and producer. Through his collaborations with artists like Sandy, he remains deeply intertwined with the fabric of modern Brazilian popular music.
