Biography

Lucas Magno is a contemporary Brazilian gospel singer who has emerged as a notable talent in the Salvadoran music scene. Born in Salvador, Bahia, he began his musical journey at a young age, learning to play the guitar at seven and feeling an early calling to music. His career started in the worship ministry of the Primeira Igreja Batista do Brasil in Salvador, and he also collaborated with independent artists.

In 2017, Magno moved to Dallas, Texas, where he deepened his theological studies and gained valuable experience working with renowned gospel artists and leading musical groups. This period exposed him to international influences, including the intensity of hard rock, which would later blend with his worship style. Upon returning to Brazil in 2020, he became the leader of the band PIBB Music, integrating his international experiences with the vibrant sounds of Brazilian churches.

Magno's music is characterized by a fusion of Texan hard rock and contemporary gospel pop, aiming to be a channel for spiritual transformation. He cites artists like Brandon Lake, Josh Baldwin, We The Kingdom, Fernandinho, and Mattos Nascimento as inspirations. In 2024, he launched his solo career with the single "Deus do Avivamento," recorded live in Salvador, signaling a new phase in his musical trajectory.
