Luciana Souza was born in São Paulo on July 14, 1966, establishing herself as an acclaimed singer and composer traversing the realms of jazz and classical music. Throughout her distinguished career, she has earned multiple Grammy Award nominations in categories such as Best Jazz Vocal Album and Best Latin Jazz Album, alongside prestigious honors like being named Female Jazz Singer of the Year by the Jazz Journalists Association.
