Luciano Camargo, born Welson David de Camargo in Pirenópolis, is a renowned Brazilian singer and songwriter. He rose to nationwide prominence as one half of the hugely successful sertaneja duo Zezé Di Camargo & Luciano, which he formed alongside his brother Zezé Di Camargo. Throughout their career, the duo achieved massive commercial success, selling over 30 million records and cementing their legacy in Brazilian popular music. Their humble beginnings and journey to stardom were famously adapted into the hit biographical film 2 Filhos de Francisco.

Before achieving musical fame, Luciano worked various odd jobs during his youth, including as a shoe shiner, a hammock seller, and an office boy. His life took a definitive turn when he purchased the second solo LP of his brother Zezé, inspiring the creation of their partnership. Over the decades, the duo became a cornerstone of the sertaneja genre, known for numerous chart-topping romantic hits.

In addition to his enduring partnership with Zezé Di Camargo, Luciano expanded his artistic endeavors by releasing his debut gospel music album in 2021 as a parallel project.
