Biography

Luís Fernando Pereira, known professionally as Lufe or Lufeh, is a prominent Brazilian drummer born in São Paulo. Raised partly in Iguape where he began his formal music education with Wilson Grimaldi, he later returned to São Paulo in 1992 and quickly immersed himself in the local Christian rock and gospel music scene, initially joining bands like Katsbarnea and Anno Domini alongside musicians such as Duca Tambasco.

Throughout his career, Lufe has lent his rhythmic talents to numerous influential groups and artists within the Brazilian Christian music landscape. He spent significant time playing with the Renascer Praise collective, recording multiple albums, and later became the drummer for the renowned rock band Oficina G3, performing on critically acclaimed records such as Humanos and Além do que os Olhos Podem Ver. In addition to his band work, he has collaborated with notable performers like PG, Nelson Ned, and Mara Maravilha.

Transitioning into a solo career, Lufe released his debut album Drummed on Classics in 2008, blending rock elements with classical music compositions in a live DVD format. He followed this with his second solo project, Luggage Falling Down, in 2020, continuing to collaborate with longtime musical partners. Maintaining a lasting legacy in Brazilian rock, he also rejoined Oficina G3 for their reunion tours in the 2020s.
