Biography

Luma Elpidio is a Brazilian contemporary Christian music singer and songwriter, born in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, on September 6, 1995. Since her adolescence, at age 13, she began writing songs of worship to God, demonstrating an early talent for music. After years of composing and accumulating dozens of songs, in 2014, at 18, she released her first single "Quem és pra mim" on YouTube. The song surprisingly reached churches and radio stations all over Brazil, marking the beginning of her professional career.

Driven by her faith and musical calling, Luma dropped out of law school to dedicate herself entirely to gospel music. Her debut album, "Liberta-me de mim", released independently in 2016, consolidated her presence in the music scene, featuring 13 original tracks, including one in English. The song "Que Amor É Esse", released in 2017, became a major success, surpassing 100 million views on YouTube and becoming her most prominent song.

With a rising career, Luma Elpidio has expanded her ministry beyond Brazilian borders, performing in several countries in North America, Europe, and Asia. She also stands out for collaborations with other artists of the genre, such as Fernandinho, Isaias Saad, and Isadora Pompeo, enriching her musical portfolio. Her work is recognized for inspiring lyrics, engaging melodies, and a strong message of faith and worship, connecting with a wide and devoted audience.
