Biography

Lurdinha Pereira is a Brazilian singer who began her career on Rádio Tupi. Married to fellow singer and songwriter Rolando Boldrin, she started singing as a child and also dedicated herself to songwriting alongside her husband. Her discography includes recordings of sambas, guaranias, and boleros, featuring the hits "Amor Desfeito" and "Lembranças", released in 1961 by the Chantecler label.

Throughout her career, Lurdinha Pereira was a member of the "Conjunto Farroupilha" and released several albums, both in her solo career and in partnership with Rolando Boldrin. In 1980, the couple released the album "Giro a Giro", and in 1982, they jointly produced the album "Uma Dupla Bem Brasileira", by Pena Branca and Xavantinho. Her voice and interpretation established her as an important figure in Brazilian popular music.

Although her main discography was concentrated from the 1960s to the 1980s, Lurdinha Pereira left her mark on Brazilian music through her participation in various festivals and memorable recordings. Her partnership with Rolando Boldrin is one of the highlights of her career, evidencing the artistic and personal harmony between the two.
