Biography

Lydia Moisés is a renowned Brazilian contemporary Christian music singer, born in Santo André on February 3, 1983. She became widely known for her fifteen-year tenure as one of the main voices of the traditional band Voz da Verdade, a group with which she recorded several albums and achieved significant prominence in the national gospel scene. Recognized for her impressive vocal range and striking technique as a soprano, she has built a solid career that spans genres such as pentecostal pop, worship, and Christian rock.

In 2005, she began her solo career with the release of the acclaimed album "Protegida", a work that earned her the Female Revelation award at the Troféu Talento. Over the following years, she consolidated her discography with successful records such as "Desafio", "O Encontro", "Maestro do Céu", and "Vai Tudo Bem", in addition to collaborating with important names in sacred music, including singer Cassiane. In 2014, she officially parted ways with Voz da Verdade, beginning to invest even more in her independent artistic identity, marked by commemorative projects, highly publicized singles, and collaborations with contemporary artists from the evangelical scene, such as Priscilla Alcantara.
