Biography

Machadinho, whose birth name is Elton Dheimes, is a Brazilian accordionist and singer born in Rafael Jambeiro, Bahia, in 1994. He stands out in the "forró pé de serra" scene, a traditional musical style from northeastern Brazil, known for its authenticity and contagious rhythm.

From an early age, Machadinho showed great aptitude for music, learning to play the 8-bass accordion from his father, Beto dos 8 Baixos, a renowned accordionist in the region. This family influence was fundamental to the development of his talent and the consolidation of his musical career. He is frequently associated with a musical style that recalls the great names of forró, such as Luiz Gonzaga, and seeks to keep the essence of this genre alive.

Machadinho has participated in various events and festivals, gaining recognition for his original compositions and stage energy. His music celebrates northeastern culture and has won fans all over Brazil, establishing him as an important name in contemporary forró.
