Biography

Maderito, the stage name of a Brazilian singer and songwriter, gained prominence in the early 2000s as part of the duo "DJ Waldo Squash e Maderito Alucinado". This partnership was fundamental in the creation of "eletromelody", a musical style that blends tecnomelody with elements of European dance music, and earned Maderito the nickname "the hallucinated boy".

Starting in 2008, Maderito became a member of "Gangh do Eletro", a group formed in Belém do Pará alongside DJ Waldo Squash, Keila Gentil, and William Love. With "Gangh do Eletro", he deepened the fusion of tecnobrega influences with international electronic music, writing lyrics that portrayed suburban daily life. The group achieved national recognition when their 2010 album was listed by the newspaper O Globo as one of the ten most important of the year.

In 2012, Maderito participated in the CD "Treme" by singer Gaby Amarantos, contributing a guest feature on the track "Galera da laje". This collaboration solidified his presence in the Brazilian music scene, especially within the electronic music and tecnobrega landscape.
