Biography
Arthur Gomes, known artistically as Maffalda, was born in the city of São Paulo and consolidated his career in electronic music by moving through genres such as pop, trap, dubstep, funk carioca, and jersey club. He began his productions independently in 2011, initially under the pseudonym The Arsenal Project, before adopting his current stage name and founding the Brabo Music Team in 2016 alongside Rodrigo Gorky.
His projection in the national scene increased significantly in 2016, when he participated in the co-production of important works in Brazilian pop music, such as the EP Open Bar and singer Pabllo Vittar's debut album, in addition to collaborating on projects with Luiza Possi. Over the years, Maffalda gained notoriety for blending global electronic rhythms with Brazilian sounds, as evidenced by his releases in partnership with Carlos do Complexo and in viral remixes that mix northeastern references with funk.
