Manoel Jardim Gomes was born in Balsas and showed an interest in music since childhood, writing his own compositions since he was 15 years old. Before achieving fame, he worked as a security guard until 2019, the year his life changed radically with the creation of the hit "Caneta Azul". The song, inspired by his school experiences, turned into an internet phenomenon and attracted the attention of several renowned Brazilian music performers, such as Wesley Safadão, Alok, Pablo do Arrocha, and Simone Mendes.

With the resounding success on social media, Manoel began traveling across the country performing concerts and maintained relevance during the COVID-19 pandemic isolation period through high-audience live streams. In August 2020, he released his debut album titled "Caneta Azul", which featured production by Laércio da Costa and included tracks like "Maura", "Parabéns", and "Eu Vou Deixar de Ser Besta". From then on, he consolidated his musical career with new releases and prominent partnerships.

In addition to his artistic trajectory, Manoel Gomes also ventured into politics, running for state deputy in Maranhão in 2022 and winning a substitute position. In 2023, he reinforced his presence in the music scene by releasing successful singles like "Lá Ele" and "Olha, Se Você Não Me Ama", in collaboration with singer-songwriter Tierry, further expanding his popular reach on the national scene.
