Manoela Latini Gavassi Francisco, widely known as Manu Gavassi, is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, actress, director, and screenwriter born on January 4, 1993, in São Paulo. She began her career in 2009 through Capricho magazine, initially modeling and participating in articles. Her singing talent was discovered by a reporter from the magazine, leading her to post song covers on YouTube. This exposure caught the attention of producer Rick Bonadio, who invited her to join his record label, Midas Music. Gavassi released her self-titled debut album, 'Manu Gavassi,' in 2010, featuring hit singles like "Garoto Errado" and "Planos Impossíveis." Her music is primarily categorized as pop, with influences from teen pop and pop rock.
Throughout her career, Gavassi has also ventured into acting, appearing in TV series such as 'Julie e os Fantasmas,' 'Z4,' and 'Malhação Sonhos,' and made her film debut in 'Socorro, Virei uma Menina!' She gained significant national attention for her participation in the reality show Big Brother Brasil in 2020, where she secured third place.
