Mara Maravilha, artistic name of Eliemary Silva da Silveira, is a prominent Brazilian singer, songwriter, and television presenter. Born in Itapetinga, Bahia, she began her artistic journey in childhood on regional television before achieving massive national stardom in the late 1980s and 1990s as the host of the hit children's television program Show Maravilha on SBT. Alongside her television career, she built a successful musical trajectory, releasing gold and platinum-certified records that blended pop, axé, and children's music, working with influential cultural forces such as the percussion group Olodum. Artists like Baby Consuelo and Wanderléa served as early inspirations during her formative years participating in local talent contests.

Following personal struggles and a period of deep reflection in the mid-1990s, Maravilha converted to the evangelical faith and successfully transitioned into gospel music.
